Empowering families
SAL Community Services' Early Head Start Child Care Partnership (EHS CCP) program provides comprehensive, individualized services to low-income infants and toddlers up to age 4, as well as pregnant mothers and their families living in Henry, Mercer, and Rock Island Counties, Illinois.
We offer Early Head Start programming at our Skip-a-Long Childhood Cetners in Milan, Moline, and Rock Island, Illinois, as well as at partnership sites in the community including area child care centers and licensed home child care providers participating with SAL Community Services' Home Child Care Network and .
Eligible families may choose from a variety of program options:
- Low-income families who are also eligible for child care subsidies with children up to age 3 may receive services in one of our Skip-A-Long Childhood Centers, or our contracted partner center.
- Low-income families who are also eligible for child care subsidies with children up to age 4, who prefer an intimate home-like setting, may elect to receive quality, early childhood services through our contracted Home Child Care Network (HCCN) providers.
- Pregnant mothers and families with children under 3 years of age also have the option to enroll in our home-based program and receive services through weekly home visits and bi-monthly socializations
